You don’t need a renovation to make your place feel better. Just a clear starting point, a little time, and a plan you’ll actually use.
Everyday things, with a place of their own. Inspiration photograph by James Coleman.
An easier way in
About 30 minutes
Give keys, bags and everyday shoes a landing place. Make coming home feel a little less like an obstacle course.
See the starting point
Pick one surface near your door. Empty it, sort what actually belongs there, and try a bowl or tray you already own. Keep the things you use every day within easy reach.
Done looks like: you can find your keys and open the door without moving a pile.
Reorganize one reachable shelf around the way you use it. Fewer forgotten things. A bit more breathing room.
See the starting point
Take everything off one shelf you can reach comfortably. Group things by how you use them, return the everyday pieces first, and keep heavier items low. No drilling or new furniture required.
Done looks like: every item is easy to take out and put back.
Work with what you have to make one small part of a room feel considered. A place to read, pause, or just be.
See the starting point
Choose a clear, accessible corner and decide what you want it to do. Try an existing chair, a surface for your book, and a light you already own. Keep walkways and exits clear.
Done looks like: the corner supports one simple activity, without borrowing space from the rest of the room.
Project starters are examples, with approximate times. Use what you own before making a shopping list.
Put a little Sunday on the calendar.
One project. A few clear steps. Something you can finish before the weekend disappears.

Bring along
A little at a time
A starting point, not professional trade advice. Leave electrical, plumbing, structural work and unsafe lifting to a qualified professional.
A home that works for your real life.
Sunday Toolbox is a home-project planning and organization studio. We’re interested in the useful little changes: the ones that make an ordinary Tuesday easier.
Bring us the space that’s bothering you and what you’d like it to do. We’ll help shape a sensible starting point, an order of work and a practical list of what you need.
What do you reach for? What gets in the way? A useful room starts with your everyday routines.

Work with what’s there.
Move, edit, rearrange. We look for the possibilities in your existing space before adding more to it.

Make the next step clear.
A manageable scope, a short list and a place to begin. Good intentions deserve a useful plan.
A few useful answers.
Is this an on-site renovation service?
Our starting point is home-project planning and organization. We don’t advertise on-site building work or licensed trade services here. If a project needs a qualified trade, involve that professional before work begins.
Do I need to buy new things?
Not to try the project starters. Start with the furniture, containers and everyday things you already own. A shopping list comes after you know what’s missing, not before.
Can I keep or share my plan?
Yes. Save a text copy or print it from the planner. Your checklist is stored only in this browser when storage is available. You can reset it whenever you like.
What happens when I get in touch?
The form below opens an email draft in your mail app. Nothing is sent until you send it. Tell us about the space and your goal; we’ll discuss whether planning help is a good fit before agreeing any scope.
What’s on your someday list?
A difficult corner, a better way to store things, or a little project you haven’t quite started. We’d love to hear about it.
